This Zeiss EC Plan Neofluar 10x/0.3 objective w/ RMS threads is compatible with Axio series microscopes.  The EC Plan Neofluar line is the most recent design from Carl Zeiss with enhanced contrast (EC), improved light control, high numerical apertures and excellent color correction and flatness for demanding applications.  

If you're in need of a 40x objective for a slightly older microscope with RMS thread nosepiece this is the objective for you.  This much newer "EC" Plan Neofluar significantly outperforms the older Plan Neofluar series objectives that are commonly found online.  Current list price new = $2738.  Save yourself almost $1700! 

Objective is in excellent condition with flawless optics and minor signs of use on barrel.  Will perform like new. Tested on AxioSkop2 stand with excellent results as would be expected.  

Important Note - Use on current Zeiss microscopes with M27 objectives requires this adapter.  The RMS-M27 adapter is parfocal and parcentric with no other optical drawbacks.  Models which require this adapter are AxioObserver, AxioImager, AxioScope A1, AxioLab A1, AxioVert A1, some models of AxioVert 200.
