The Zeiss Plan Apo 63x/1.40 oil is Zeiss' flagship objective lens for high resolution imaging.  Extremely high numerical aperture, wide field of view, excellent fluorescence sensitivity, apochromatically color corrected and perfectly flat edge to edge.  This is also the "DIC" version of this lens so it has been specially selected for its excellent strain charasteristics.  Zeiss p/n 420782-9900-000 which is the currently available version new.  Compatible with LSM confocal, Apotome, deconvolution, Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) - this is an all around performer.  We have inspected this objective very closely and put it through testing on an AxioObserver with Apotome and it performs as new.  Optics are pristine.  M27 thread.  If you have Axiovert 200, please ensure that your version has M27 nosepiece - the other objectives will have a 42- part number instead of 44- part number on them.
