Single-Channel Optical System
- Capture more light
- Higher Resolution
- Parallax Free Imaging
The Axio Zoom.v16 is the perfect balance between a stereo and a compound microscope. We position this microscope as a hybrid system the two where you can benefit from the resolution of a compound light microscope and still have the flexibility of different light sources, stands, and large working distances of a stereo microscope. This is all possible with the single-channel optical system within the Axio Zoom.v16.
The single-channel optical system also eliminates parallax which is inherently present in stereo microscopes. Parallax introduces an angular bias to your image which can create a misleading image of your samples. Our Discovery series of stereo microscopes can compensate for parallax, however, you can have confidence in the Axio Zoom to produce reliable data for all images.
Modular Design
The Axio Zoom.v16 configuration can be tailored to your exact needs. Choose from a wide range of options to best illuminate or image your samples.
Flexible Magnification
You can mount up to (2) objectives to the Axio Zoom.v16 for seamless changes of objectives.
